Shorts Porter is free software that a person installs and runs on their own computer. These terms cover use of that software. There is no hosted service, no account, and no fee.
You may use it to move video between accounts you own or control, and only where you hold the rights to the content you are moving.
You are responsible for what you upload and for the state of your accounts on both platforms.
The tool talks to Google and TikTok using credentials you create. Both may change, limit, or withdraw their APIs at any time, and either may restrict or remove your access to their services. None of that is within the author's control.
Music and other material licensed for use on YouTube does not necessarily carry a license for use on TikTok. Clearing that is your responsibility.
The software is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement.
In no event shall the author be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability, whether in an action of contract, tort, or otherwise, arising from, out of, or in connection with the software or its use. This includes loss of video, loss of account access, and action taken against your account by either platform.
Any change to these terms is a change to this page. Continuing to use the software after a change means you accept it.
